A month ago ED REC turned 8. When I started the label I had no idea
it will change my life and take you and a few new artists on a long musical journey.
Running a label was not really what excited me at the time, it was more about sharing
and having fun.
Anyway, let’s talk about today, 2011 I love you so… already.

I know we promised this album for a while, but hey! it’s never too late.
Last year I was in L.A for Record Store Day. I heard the Beastie Boys will release a special 12″
for this special occasion… Since then I wanted to be sure Ed Rec will be part of RSD
April 16th, make sure you visit your indie record store (big up to Rough Trade, Amoeba, Ground Zero, etc…) We will be selling a very limited box full of surprises!

One of Ed Rec’s old timer KRAZY BALDHEAD is boiling in studio. Just had a draft of
his second album and I am more than happy to follow him since 2004.
I can also hear some noise in the basement from MICKEY MOONLIGHT, DSL and Mr OIZO, but let’s speak about it later.
Last but not least, I had the chance to get my “Procrastinator” remixed by HEY TODAY!
and BOK BOK!
